Our Occupational Therapist has a thorough understanding of disabling conditions and how they impact on life. While understanding that each person is unique, with their own individual needs, she can look at how your living environment is helping or hindering your day to day living. OT’s believe in the removal of environmental barriers that constrain the way you wish to live your life.

Our Occupational Therapist can visit your home to identify the exact nature of the difficulties you are having. Following her assessment she may suggest alternative ways of undertaking an activity or recommend the use of products or equipment designed to overcome specific problems.

Our Occupational Therapist can also guide you to outside agencies who offer help in supporting you at home. Pressure care, seating and postural advice are all areas which can be covered within a home assessment visit and reports can be supplied as required.
